Nuffnang Ads Not Showing Up and My Payment is in Danger
If I am not mistaken, Nuffnang ads have stopped showing up in my sites since the last week of December 2008. I have not made a significant amount of money yet serving Nuffnang ads and here goes the possibility that the company has stopped its operation. Well, Nuffnang Philippines’ website is still up but just like Matched.co.uk (which closed down in November 2008), I am afraid I will not get paid again after serving these ads in my sites for a couple of months.
If that is the case, I might as well clean up my sidebar of non-performing ads and affiliate buttons and promote my other sites by placing their feeds in places where ad blocks used to occupy.
If you are a Nuffnanger (Nuffnang Philippines), feel free to post your comment. If have you been paid by Nuffnang Philippines before, congratulations.

Bro,
Yup kaya nga until now andito pa sa site ko yung banner nila. I am hoping na “mabuhay” muli ang ads nila. Hahaha! Malapit ko na rin kasing makuha yung minimum kaya nga sana lang soon eh makita ko ulit yung ads nila.

Ang dami kong nakikitang may ads ng nufnang, isa yata ako sa mga wala pa. Am I missing something? Pero kung tulad ng sinasabi mo that your payment is in danger, parang hindi na ako interesado.

Amor,
I cannot recommend Nuffnang ads to you, fren. Honestly, mahina ang pasok ng kita dyan tapos mabagal pa. Malapit na kong maglinis ng sidebar. Isa yan sa aalisin ko.

The thing with Nuffnang is, the advertisers specifically choose which sites they want to show their ads. Aside from that, an advertiser can set a quota on the impressions.
So when you’re not seeing any ads, there are two possible scenarious, no advertiser chose you OR you’ve reached your quota for the day. If it’s the latter, you’ll see your earnings go up after a couple of days or so.
Now if the case is the first one, then maybe it’s time for you to put the Nuffnang ads into a more visible location to increase its CTR. Thus, making it more “likeable” for advertisers.
Anyway, this is just me thinking out loud. I cashed out my earnings before the end of the year so I’m expecting the check to arrive anytime this month. As stated in their website, Glitterati members get their payments within 30 days.
I’ll try to come back here if ever I was able to receive my payment already or not. In any case, I’ve also created a ticket that asks specifically these concerns.
Let’s just see what happens.

Fitz,
Thanks for your thoughts. I hope Nuffnang will give you a good answer when they reply to your ticket. Other bloggers have begun complaining about Nuffnang ads not showing up in their sites also. I think they no longer have advertisers at this time. Well, I hope I’m wrong about this.

Hi. Just to update. I was able to get my earnings from Nuffnang already today. I picked up my check in their office at The Fort as per my request.
They usually send out the checks by mail. So you don’t really need to be in Manila to get the payment.
Aside from me, I also know a handful of other bloggers who already received their check. One thing though, they deduct 10% as tax from your cashed out earnings.
By the way, the people at the Nuffnang office were all nice.

Fitz,
Sorry for the late reply. Good you already got paid. I hope you’ll earn more dollars (I mean pesos) from the network. Keep up the good work with Nuffnang.
