Smartbro’s Prepaid Internet Slow for Laptops
I’m using the Smartbro Prepaid Wireless Internet. The connection is terribly slow and may not be feasible for laptops and desktops for long-term use. It takes me an hour to publish an article 200-word long because my internet connection is very unstable. It must have something to do with the signals transmitted by cell sites of Smart which are not good at the moment. I’ve tried the Smartbro Prepaid Wireless Internet in Laoag City and here in Baguio but the results are the same. I can only make use of this as a spare connection in cases when it’s best to stay at home for some reasons than go outside and rent. I’ll just be patient with the low bandwidth.
A little later today my wife and I are going to check her testing center (Pines City Colleges) and we hope to avoid the rush (traffic and volume of examinees verifying their names and room assingments). The Nursing Board Exam has taken its toll on me after multitasking as a reviewer, thesis writer, blogger, and a dedicated grandfather. Ouch!
I hope my blogging habits will be normalized despite my failing Smartbro Prepaid internet connection. My laptop is in good condition and runs faster than any computer I have used before but the Smartbro Prepaid internet sucks and so my blog life is once again affected. I hope to find a “cure” to this problem by doing some tweaks with the connection settings later when we arrive from the testing center.

I hope you do find a cure na mapabilis ang connection ng SmartBro.
Good luck kay Jen sa exam nya.
BTW, may pm pala ako sa YM. About Nokia N96. How about comparison ng N85 at N96? confused talaga kasi ako friend kung anong bibilhin ko.

when i used the prepaid smartbro of my friend, it worked fine on my laptop. But i usually type my draft in MS word then copy paste them in html mode when publishing.
But i admit that there are certain times of the day when connection is very slow.

Bro,
Yeah, that’s what I do now because in my end, the Smartbro Wireless internet connection is very unstable – one minute on, 3 minutes off – especially during peak periods like 9am-9pm. My laptop is running smoothly but my internet connections is really killing me.

My family’s using Smart Bro wireless the one that’s 1,999 pesos per month. The connection is great, but the computer at home’s the problem.

Camper,
I just used it when we went to baguio for the board exam. Hahaha!

Camper,
Oh man! I’ll try Globe nga and see how kung papano magkonek sa ganyang speed. Hehehe! In reality, the Smartbro wireless is a waste of time and money. Magpopost ako about my experience in the near future para mabasa ng tao.
