How to Clean and Maintain a Coffee Maker the Proper Way

I puchased a coffee maker about a month ago and the problem that confronted me at first was how to clean my coffee maker (IMARFLEX). If you have a coffee maker and does not know how to clean and maintain your unit, let me give you some instructions:

How to Clean the Water Tank of a Coffee Maker

  1. Pour water in the water tank with one pint vinegar.
  2. put th ecarafe into th ehot plate. Close the funnel.
  3. Switch ON.
  4. Allow the vinegar inside the water tank for at least 30 minutes. Switch ON. The water will flow into the carafe after boiling.
  5. Empty carafe and rinse it thoroughly.
  6. Pour water on the water tank and repeat the brewing cycle.
  7. Switch OFF.
  8. Wash the carafe once again.

How to Clean the Hot Plate and the Filter basket of a Coffe Maker

  1. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool off before cleaning.
  2. Wipe the hot plate with a damp cloth and wipe it dry.
  3. Was the filter basket with soap and water.

How to Clean the Carafe of a Coffee Maker

  1. Wash the carafe using a mild detergent.
  2. To remove coffee stains, fill the carafe with water and mild soap. Allow these inside the carafe overnight.
  3. Rinse the carafe throughly.

  1. Meron din kaming coffee maker na regalo pa sa aming kasal (2002) pero hindi naman namin ginagamit. Last Summer ginamit namin para lang masabing ginamit, akala nga namin sira na kasi never pang nagamit yun noon. Pinapagamit nga ni Francis, eh sabi ko anong gagawin ko doon, settled na ako sa Nescafe, hindi na kailangan ng coffee maker haha. Kaya ayun ibinalik sa baul!

    Nakit ako nga medyo mahirap linisin ang coffee maker eh. Ang problema ko kung matuluan ko ng liquid yung metal parts or wires nya. Kundi lang masarap ang brewed coffee eh hindi ko patitiyagaan yung coffee maker kong linisin. lol!
