Detoxify Daily for Better Health: Drink Natural Juices, Red Wine, Beer or Coffee
If you are conscious with your health just like this author, then consider detoxifying on a daily basis. As part of my regimen to detoxify myself daily, I do drink coffee, red wine and lately, beer (San Mig Light). Read my previous articles on these topics by clicking on these links: “Some Facts About Coffee: Coffee Has More Antioxidants Than Tea” and “Drinking Red Wine is Good for Your Health“. I don’t drink natural fruit juices (although it’s a good way to detoxify) because the acids in fruit juices upset my stomach. Drinking natural fruit juices like orange juice and guyabano juice does more harm than good to me because of my stomach’s sensitivity.
Some of you may ask why coffee is include in of liquids that you could take in to detoxify daily. Simple. Aside from the fact that coffee is the number source of antioxidants, coffee induces urination, sweating and flatulence (gas) – two of our bodies’ natural ways to expel or excrete toxins. A regular cup of coffee, if you will notice, is largely water (which is perhaps the cheapest substance that you can use for detoxification). Drinking coffee might not work in detoxification if and only if your cup of coffee is 1/4 water and 3/4 coffee. lol!
However, I must admit that drinking water is the best way to detoxify. Local studies show that those who drink water have lower likelihood to contract diseases. Water is also the safest substance for detoxification (if it’s clean and purified) because no other compound is present in it. It is easily absorbed by the body and it doesn’t cause too many side effects unlike other drinks mentioned here.

I regularly drink coffee, not only to keep me awake but I just love the taste of it. I’ve been worried about the effects this will have to me but thanks for sharing this information. I won’t be guilty about drinking coffee daily anymore

Shiera,
I am in fact addicted to coffee. Never did I ever feel guilty of drinking it on a daily basis. I honestly feel great and I think coffee is the best drink for detoxification. That’s just me of course because I really am not used to drinking fruit juices or milk.

I love natural juices, especially mango. I like having a cup of coffee in the evening but not during the day though. Matapang kasi ang kape nila dito, buti na lang my Nescafe, hehee!

mhy,
for me, fresh juices for detoxification is not recommended. hyperacidity has been my problem since childhood. it’s a good thing coffee does not stimulate the production of too much acid in my stomach.

i’m sipping a cup of maxwell instant coffee as i read this entry. the nestle ads about anti-oxidant ang palagi kung gamit na justification sa wife ko. she, on the other hand, prefers juices.
