Updated List of Milk and Milk Products Tested by DOH-BFAD for Melamine Content and Melamine Contamination
The following list of milk and milk products have been tested for melamine content and melamine contamination by the Department of Health (DOH) and Bureau of Food and Drugs (BFAD) in the Philippines. The list of products is a partial list because others are still being tested. Please note that the milk and milk products found positive with melamine will be banned in the Philippines for the safety of the Philippine consumers. The report released by DOH-BFAD should serve as a guide to Filipino consumers. For a comparison of milk products made in China and breast milk, please read my previous article titled List of Milk Products Being Investigated by BFAD for Melamine Content.
Please note that a list of products being tested for melamine content and melamine contamination was released by BFAD last week but those items have not been declared banned in the Philippines yet. Jalice,
I’ll try to update this list when it becomes available. So far, the only item added was Sunflower Blueberry Cracker (a biscuit). I’ll update this ASAP.
