the difference is that on the fan page you can only yourself as a fan, whereas on a personal facebook you can request to be added as a friend

it was a joke between friends. jessie and the poster are one and the same. yeah, i’ve ralized that now. but gaining an acces to michael phelps’s facebook acount (fan account) can pretty much give you a direction as to where his personal profile is.
