Phelps 7th Gold Medal Win
Michael Phelps wins his 7th gold medal in the latest medal count in the Beijing 2008 Olympics! Michael Phelps is only 23 years old but winning his 7th gold medal in a single Olympics is truly unbelievable. Phelps’s 7th gold came from winning the 100m butterfly race. Phelps’s medal count keeps getting higher and he’s eyeing on 8th gold medal in the 4×100m medley relay event.
Reports also indicate that Michael Phelps matched compatriot Mark Spitz’s record of seven golds at one Olympic Games, surpassing his own six-gold tally of Athens and netting a one million-dollar bonus from sponsor Speedo.
Michael Phelps’s diet includes eating 8,000-10,000 calories a day, including “lots of pizza and pasta.” In addition to stuffing down carbs, he’s said that he routinely eats foods like fried egg sandwiches. Congratulation to Michael Phelps for winning his 7th gold medal in the Olympics. He deserves all the glory. Phelps 7th medal is not the end of his quest for more glory. I strongly believe the 8th gold medal is about to be won. With this guy’s sterling performance in the Beijing 2008 Olympics, I guess I will be watching the Olympics more often.
