Pacquiao-Diaz Fight Result: Manny Pacquiao Knocks Out David Diaz!
The Pacquiao-Diaz fight labeled as “Lethal Combination” is over and my earlier predictions about the match between Manny Pacquiao vs. David Diaz were true: Pacquiao won over Diaz via knockout (in the 9th round) and Pacman was really aggressive right from the very beginning of the fight. The win was well-deserved and he’s no doubt a winner in this fight (unlike in his fight against Juan Manuel Marquez) kudos to the knockout.
The fight ended in a knockout because of Manny Pacquiao’s punching prowess, good boxing and speed. During the fight, Manny Pacquiao launched vicious attacks against David Diaz in the earlier rounds. I have expected this to happen because Diaz is an aggressive and “dangerous” fighter and if Pacquiao became too cautious, David Diaz would have capitalized on that and retained the WBC Lightweight Championship title. Manny’s speed served him well. He has outboxed, beaten and battered Diaz so well that after the match Diaz’ face was swelling so badly with blood everywhere. Diaz suffered from a very deep and wide cut on his right eyelid, nose and mouth before getting knocked out in the 9th round.
Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s victory over David Diaz is not a triumph of one man. It is a triumph of the entire Filipino people worldwide. The Pacquiao-Diaz fight photos/pictures and videos will be uploaded later. This match between Pacquiao and Diaz, and the excitement it brought to fight fans make boxing still the most exciting combat sport in the world. Congratulations to Manny Pacquiao and his team. Thanks for making me five thousand pesos richer again.

I have predicted Manny Pacquiao’s win by way of knockout against David Diaz based on their previous fights. Watching the Pacquiao-Diaz fight live on cable was breathtaking.

Yup, I won 5K. Thanks to Manny Pacquiao. I should have won 10K if he knocked out Diaz in round 6 or earlier. However, if he won by way of decision, I should have won 3K only (that’s why I was praying for Pacquiao to knockout Diaz. lol!)
