Business Promotion Using Trade Show Booths, Graphics and Accessories
As an offline businessman, some of the tools I employ in promoting my printing business are: 1) giving away free samples of our products – printed t-shirts, PVC ID’s & graphic designs and 2) distribution of leaflets. I have established my printing business from scratch. I crawled and scratched my way to where it is right now. I would have to agree that I do not use some flashy tools to promote my business. This is because its target market is very small in area, covering only select towns in Ilocos Norte.
Capitalization (or should I say the adequacy of capitalization) is my utmost concern. Printing business nowadays is NOT something that is easy to finance. This doesn’t mean though that I do not know the value of business promotion.
For other means to promote your business, you can try to establish a trade show booth at social events or malls with some fancy stuffs like great graphics and accessories.
When I was with Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines (as market analyst), the most fun events for us employees were town fiestas. We get to setup our booths and all the promotional materials we have in store and give away free drinks. Our free “drinkage” promo was always a big hit because everybody loves a free drink. Because of this, we also incorporated gave away posters, t-shirts and caps to promote our products and company.
However, if you are in the United States, try the Godfrey Group. They provide a range of display solutions from off-the-shelf to fully custom applications featuring trade show displays, corporate information centers, trade show booths, portable displays, trade show exhibits, pop up displays and accessories for trade shows, showrooms, retail environments, and promotional events.
