Typhoon Frank Hit Visayas Hard
Typhoon Frank is already outside the Philippine territory but its mark will always be embedded in the memories of those who were affected especially those in Jaro, Iloilo. Typhoon Frank really hit the heart of Visayas so hard I can’t even imagine myself being in those people’s shoes while watching them (victims) on TV.
After watching the late night news last night, I felt nothing but pity and helplessness. Pity because the images shown on TV were so devastating. The catastrophe affected thousands of families, rich or poor, destroyed properties and crops worth millions. Many are already sick and homeless. On the other hand, I felt helpless. I am not rich and though I want to help people in my own little ways, I couldn’t do much for them after the disaster.
I just hope the Visayas regions get the much-needed relief, help and assistance to start anew. It’s never too easy to stand back again after a calamity hits your province. I know because from experience, Ilocos Norte suffered the same fate a few years ago care of “Typhoon Feria”. I just pray for the quick recovery of the whole province and other nearby provinces. May the scars of the disaster be healed as soon as possible. I hope you will join me in this prayer.

Hi Jessie,
Sa mga ganitong kalamidad talagang helpless ang pakiramdam ng nakararami sa atin, lalo na yung walang maitutulong na pampinansyal. All we can do is hope that soon help arrives..and pray for those who perished.
*sigh*

Thess,
Yup, that is correct. At this time, all we can offer to the victims of Typhoon Frank in the Visayas are our prayers. They’ll get through these tough times I’m sure. Pinoy pa.
