Stress and My Old Nemesis - Renewal of Driver’s License
I’m renewing my driver’s license today and you know what, this has a terrible health implication on my part. Not only will I not be able to blog till 5pm today but anticipating the stress I can derive from falling in a long line standing up (of course!) is already killing me. In my sad experiences of renewing my driver’s license at the Land Transportation Office, my legs and feet get swollen after a whole day in the queue. I feel like the blood flow in my lower extremities is restricted due to my bad posture during the long wait. Waiting is stressful. That has always been the case for me. Likewise, I can be very impatient at times and lose my temper when the processing of documents seem to stop at the booths.
Oh, how I really wish I could just let this day pass without going to the LTO. Too bad I won’t be able to drive my owner jeep without a driver’s license.
I’m bringing my wife with me. And what could a wife do during a husband’s renewal of his driver’s license? An alternate in the queue. 
Despite that, I still expect myself to feel haggard at the end of this day due to stress.

Naku kuya, you said it. I made the mistake of renewing my license on my last day of renewal without penalty last year (definition: birthday) and I got spent waiting for hours on end on what supposed to be a day to party. It was a lesson learned the hard way - never put things off. I was never a procrastinator, it’s just that I expected to get done by lunch because I thought the LTO branch that was new in that mall would be like more efficient, which I was so wrong about.
The year before that kasi I had my license renewed sa mall din sa farmers Cubao and I was done in around 3 hours tops. I hope those government folks would get better at their system. Sistema lang naman kasi yan eh.

Oo nga eh. Antagal sa LTo. Tumagal kami ng 6 hours ni Jen (my wife). What happened is, I got her a student permit para na rin may magamit sya in driving our jeep at para di sayang yung time na andun kami.

Kuya, matanong ko lang. Bakit sa dinadami-dami ng araw na puede kang mag-renew ng license mo, sa mismong araw pa ng birthday mo? Hehehehe! Buti naman at isasama mo si wifey Jennie. Magpaparty ka naman kuya! Hmmmp! Andami mo ngang pera eh!
