Enable WordPress and Typepad Users to Comment in Your Blogger Blog
I have notified some blogger-friends in the persons of Ellaine and Breggie about my inability to leave comments in their blogs hosted in Blogger. I’m a hardcore WordPress user. All my blogs are using WordPress as publishing tool. There are blogs out there though that I really love but alas! They are hosted in Blogger (blogname.blogspot.com) and I just can’t leave a comment behind.
For more experienced and versatile bloggers, this simple tutorial on “how to make your visitors who are using WordPress leave a comment in your blog” may not be of help at all. For newbies or those who don’t bother to tweak their blogs, then you might want to read this article.
Here are the simple steps in carrying out this task:
1) Login to your Blogger Account
2) Choose the blog you want to tweak or modify
3) Go to Settings
4) Go to Comments
5) Choose Anyone – includes Anonymous Users (and you’re done!)
This simple setting will also enable Typepad users to leave comments in your blogs, not just Blogger and WordPress users. Happy blogging, folks!

I’m one of those bloggers who don’t bother to tweak my blog. I didn’t know comment section was off for WP users in my other blog. I will just have to change the settings now…

I have a blogger din kasi, but I did not really check the settings prior to that. Looks like nakaka-comment ka naman sa akin. hehe

Love wp too..i have 5 wp blogs hehe..now they have cool options in inserting photos as in you can insert the whole gallery if you want.

honestly, i have also tried blogger and typepad but really my heart goes to Wordpress. i’ll settle for nothing but Wordpress. It’s flexible and there are tons of plugins available around.

Thank you for the information, I’m an avid word press user myself, allowing comments on you blog insures that there’s fresh content on you blog, and we all know that content is king.

I’m a wordpress lover and it drives me UP THE WALL sometimes trying to put comments on blogger blogs. So often i lose them altogether and have to retype. Google’s captcha images are a bit extreme too at times!
