American Idol 2008 May 21/22 Results: David Cook Wins!

Who is the winner of the American Idol 2008 Finals? You guessed it right – it’s David Cook! David Cook was hailed winner of the American Idol 2008 Season 7. It was truly an emotional night for David Cook, a native of Texas but raised in Missouri. He won over his American Idol 2008 Finals rival, David Archuleta, by a 12-million margin in text votes. David Cook is the 7th American Idol. David Cook was highly favored by millions of American Idol fans early in the competition.

No shame for David Archuleta though. He fought a very good fight and he is in his own right a winner. David Archuleta is still the American Idol of millions of fans worldwide.
