Protect Your Homes From Too Much Sunlight With Window Blinds
Here in the Philippines, summertime can be so annoying. Outdoor or indoor, the sun is too hot. Studies also show that most appliances at home suffer damage from too much exposure to sunlight. This prompts home owners to put curtains on windows to prevent too much sunlight to come in to the homes and potentially damages properties particularly those made of plastic.
An alternative to fabric curtain is also available – window blinds. Here in my own home, we use a Venetian blinds made of thin iron covered with dark yellow paint. This not only protects items inside my home but also us, residents. In addition, it also provides us with a higher level of privacy. We didn’t want our neighbors to see us (me and my wife) fighting or arguing of course.

Another good solution, which is excellent for anybody that works nite shift or that has a young child is to use blackout roller blinds
These are also very efficient at insulating the room, so it keeps it hot in winter and cool in summer.

The big window blind in my daughter’s room recently came crashing down (on the day of her birthday party!)
