American Idol 2008 Results: The American Idol 2008 Season 7 Elimination Night (May 14/15) wasn’t too good for Syesha Mercado. Syesha Mercado was voted off by more than 56M text voters in America. The American Idol 2008 Season 7 title is now between the two Davids – David Cook and David Archuleta.

Watch Syesha Mercado’s youtube video performance of “Hit Me Up” by Gia Farell, the soundtrack of the movie “Happy Feet”, in which Simon Cowell commented that the song was for penguins. Cool, Simon.
