American Idol 2008 Update: Syesha Mercado and David Archuleta showed the strongest performances in the American Idol 2008 Season 7 tonight, May 6, 2008.
Syesha Mercado brought the house down with her performance. I really liked how Syesha Mercado transformed from a shy girl onstage to a more exciting performer. Randy Jackson’s comment said it all - Syesha Mercado is “in the zone, baby!”

Syesha is the type of person who never gives up. She’ll win awards in the future like fantasia barrino or jennifer hudson
