American Idol 2008 Top 6: Brooke White Sings “You Must Love Me”
The beautiful Brooke White and the rest of the American Idol 2008 Top 6 contestants were under pressure in singing Broadway songs. The Top 6’s mentor was the legendary Andrew Lloyd Webber. Season 7 of the American Idol is becoming more intense as the Top 6 showed some signs of nervousness and lack of confidence. Brooke White even forgot the lyrics of her song. Ugh!
Brooke White struggled in singing “You must love Me”, admitting that she really forgot the lyrics of the song but luckily recalled it a few moments later. The judges were obviously disappointed with Brooke White’s performance but only Simon Cowell and Randy expressed their disappointments. Paula Abdul didn’t say much about Brooke White’s performance except that “You must not start to stop”.
Watch Brooke White’s Youtube video of her singing performance in which she did “You Must Love Me” and see for yourself if Brooke White could be eliminated because of this.

Twerlz,
I’m glad you’re ok. Unfortunately, Carly Smithson was eliminated from the American Idol… It’s quite disappointing because everybody expected Brooke White to be eliminated today.

WTF! Brooke White should have been eliminated instead of Carly Smithson. That girl cant sing a good tune!

At first it seemed like Brooke couldn’t make a mistake and was going to walk through the whole competition, but she’s been pretty meh for the past couple of weeks. The Dolly episode was really bad and there just weren’t any good songs choices, so I’ll let the one slide. She did a great job with “Let It Be” and definitely has the talent, but I just think she needs to get to pick her own song out of any possible category if she’s going to win.

jessie reply on April 30, 2008:
I agree with you. Brooke White should study carefully her choice of songs if she want to be the next American Idol. If not, then probably this week, she’ll be voted off.
