Michael Johns Was Eliminated From American Idol 2008

Michael Johns was eliminated from the famous American Idol 2008 (Season 7). Michael Johns was shocked as well as his family, friends, and fans in the American Idol 2008 competition.

Michael Johns, for your info, is the rocker guy in the American Idol 2008. The rocker girl is Carly Smithson, another contender who was in the bottom three of the American Idol elimination night together with Syesha Mercado.

Everyone seemed shocked with the elimination of Michael Johns because he has so many fans, including Paula Abdul.

Watch Michael John’s Youtube video of his last performance where he sang “Dream On”. Michael Johns sings well in my view but that’s just how American Idol works, a popularity contest. Even if you have the voice if you do not have the votes, you’ll be voted off. If it’s any consolation, Michael Johns’ farewell performance was great.   1. why? why? why? kuya jess…huhuhu.. he’s one of the best in the competition and I agree with you he sang it very well. He’s actually a natural performer/singer. I thought he’ll be in the top 3..hahay..That’s the thing in American Idol, it’s more of a popularity contest than a talent search. sigh…. but for sure after AI he’ll be famous.

  2. I guess he wasn’t appealing enough for all the 14 year old school girls who are mostly voting. He was one of the better singers of the competition.

    i totally agree. Michael johns is truly talented but he just didn’t get lucky in the text voting.
