Why Get a Credit Card?
Prior to blogging, I had no credit card or a debit card. But when blogging became “profitable”, as some of you may know it, a credit card and Paypal accounts are must-haves. Any blogger who has an inclination to monetize his blog knows that by now.
My very good and sexy friend Ellaine even wrote something about her EON Cyber Account card (a credit card and debit card rolled into one). It was actually something I had a hand on because she was having some problems with her debit card.
Credit cards have been one source of many people’s problems. It is not just about spending money without hard cash that makes people problematic (of course I admit that is most likely to happens if you’re not wise enough to handle cash). What makes people problematic about credit cards is the lack of education about how interests are calculated and how hard it would be for them to pay credit card companies later on after accruing huge credits after some time.
So before getting a credit card, think again. Be informed. Read about policies and better yet, get some sample quotation of you are not sure whether or not in the end you will regret getting a credit card. Just a piece of friendly reminder to all of you out there who need a “plastic money” for business or personal use like this blogger. And wait, let me check my Paypal if I have earned something out of this article already. ![]()

Jessie, yes I agree it seems to have become a necessity to have either a credit card or Paypal account these days if you’re doing stuff online. So I read on here you live in the Philippines? Are credit cards very popular there too? Here in the U.S. they have gotten so popular some places don’t even accept cash. I’ve made a hobby of researching all this and even though credit cards have benefits there are many bad things about them still.
But yes, I agree – what makes credit cards the most problematic is indeed lack of education about them.
