Termites Can Destroy Your Home and Furnitures
Termites, like any other pests, are sometimes difficult to deal with. These are often called “white ants” because they look like ants only that they primarily feed on wood. Specifically, these termites are called drywood termites or “anay” in Filipino.
Here in the Philippines, drywood termites are common in homes and offices because wood accounts for a vast majority of appliances and home structures like posts, walls, doors, and more.
In relation to this, perhaps the best way to combat these pests that can and will destroy your home and furnitures is a drywood termites treatment which can be helpful if you don’t want further damage to your properties.
In Ilocos Norte, where most homes are still made of wood (or a combo of wood and concrete), this treatment could very well serve home owners as it has been a very serious problem for decades. My home is not exempted.
For a sample of what termites can do, here is a photo showing just a small portion of a wood being eaten and torn apart by these tiny creatures:
Now, imagine your house infested by these tiny pests.
