American Idol 2008 Scandal and Ramielle Malubay Photos
The American Idol 2008 (Season 7) is laced with a scandal in the person of the only Filipina contender this season, Ramielle Malubay (Ramiele Malubay, to some). The photos of this young American Idol 2008 contender are all over the internet. These were actually from her Facebook account and I really don’t know how the photos leaked to the public.
Does the American Idol 2008 governing body know about this or the people behind this body really just don’t care whether a candidate poses sexy or nude infront of the camera?

those photos don’t appear to be too obscene to me.

Facebook is not a safe community site. They’re (terms) agreement has been circulated here that they could own user’s photos and some find it difficult to close their account. Maybe it’s the reason why photos of Ramielle are all over the net or one of her contacts is responsible for this.

I saw this girl performance and indeed very good and is beautiful too. I didn’t find any bad about this photos..Di naman ata bawal to sa American Idol kasi liberated sila at walang wholesome2x dun. Yun mga sumisikat nga na sumali dun diba yung iba san napupunta sa pagpapasexy at sa playboy magazinez pa.

Yeah…nothing is wrong with it if you are in America or any other sane country for that matter. Personally, she is not my favorite but I have nothing against her photos. I wouldn’t do it but that is a personal preference. No one has the right to judge other people’s choices. She wanted to have fun with her friends. I don’t think that is affecting our youth of today. Most teenagers do far worse than what we see but they are not in the spot light. This is not the Vatican City and I bet you even Vatican will not crucify her for these photos.

Obscenity depends on which angle you want to look at. Kuya, maybe you were staring hard at her cleavage and pair of legs and you got some demons whispering in your head, kidding,hahaha!
Anyways, westerners aren’t too conventional. It might be that we haven’t heard from American Idol authorities because they don’t find these photos extremely obscene. Whichever angle we try to look at, it still depends on how we see things…

Not all cultures practice covering up all the body parts. Get real people…unless you are stuck in the medieval ages or still practice crazy culture that you should have left in your native country when you moved here, that’s just teenagers playing around. Nude photos are obscene but not playful ones that you are doing with your girlfriends..yah know…like female gal pals..if you even know what that means!

I don’t see anything wrong with the pics kuya.. it looks like just girls having fun.. we do that with my friends sometimes too.. kakikayan lang naman yan eh.. i thought talaga its nude and she’s naked in the pic.. I mean my God, it’s her singing voice and performance that matters in the contest. Isa pa there are a lot of teen celebrities that do have more daring pics than those.
It’s just funny how the public/media make a big fuss out of it while the contest is still going on. Eh yong ibang contestants nga pa wholesome sa start pero pg nanalo na eh di na wholesome.
She’s good and got a talent. Period.

Take a close look at the pictures specially #2 & #4, the hands of the two other girls appears to be touching Ramielle’s breast but they are not, that’s only an illusion. What’s the big deal there?
Does this mean Ramielle is getting popular at this early stage of the competition, if that’s the case we Pinoys should be proud.

i love ramielle malubay so much because she is proud to be a pilipino and i am also proud of me to be a pilipino thats the reason why i voted for Ramielle because i’m proud of her for making it to the top 12 contestant….i luv her so much because i could even call her my youngest sister because she is my personal beloved friends and i’m glad that i got the chance of making her dreams come true and alive thats why i choose to vote for her because she is my number one fans in the whole wide world…..i hope that she still have the chance to win the first runner up or second runner up against David Archuleta that will be cool too…i luv ramielle and david archuleta personally because both of them they can make it all the way……
