Approved PPP Account
Last night before going to bed, I saw my MS-Outlook signaling the arrival of a new email. It’s from PPP. I remember signing up 3 days ago when this blog has broken the 90-day mark required before you can be accepted in the program.
Honestly, I have second thoughts as to pursuing paid blogging especially with payperpost using this site. My previous discussions reveal that reluctance knowing how Goog will react – you know, the PR slapping thing and all the possible problems associated with losing your PR.
On one hand, I kept thinking that PR is only a number and cannot truly measure your blog’s worth. On the other hand, what would I do with a PR, anyway? I’m still anxious about this one so I might as well keep my fingers crossed.
But enough for that at the moment. Right now, two things can happen. Either I earn some $$$ and lose something in return, or just earn some $$$.
In any case, I hope things will work out well. There are a lot of good stories from bloggers using the PPP network as a good source of additional income and maybe, out of curiosity, I might as well try the network to see if I can generate something to cover my expenses on domain name, web hosting and electric bills. lol!
For bloggers aspiring to earn something from blogging, you might want to try the network. I heard the pay is good. Just a friendly advice, if you don’t mind – don’t swallow more than you can chew. That’s just me. And like I said before, nobody will hold it against you if you’ll ever want to monetize your blog. Just make sure you can still offer articles engaging enough to your readers or else they might not come back to your site and you’ll lose readership (as others have honestly and humbly admitted). Blogging is fun especially when your readers are reactive and your interaction with them is high and healthy. Making money via your blogs can also be fun but overdoing it might cost you more than what you can possibly make. Control, like patience, is a virtue dear friends. Happy blogging!

Cool Jessie..Welcome to PPP. You belong lol! I am having problem with all my posts due for payment because of my domain. Gladly I can still resubmit it for aprroval and for payment immediately. Just imagine I have 7posts worth $150 need to be resubmit after it will be rejected for payments. (Hay $ na naging bato pa)Good thing about PPP, if you become an oustanding postie all of your posts will be auto approved and you will just wait for the payment after blog is review. I got high Izea ranks and alexa before I bought my domain. Just waiting for the update in PPP support about my question about it. They were able to change my url to new domain.

@ Joy,
I didn’t know you’ll encounter such problems when you change URL’s. I hope readers of this article will learn a valuable lesson from your comment because I did. I’m glad you shared it with us here

Kuya, I forgot to mention. I’ve been having problems with ppp.my entries are going on auto approved for some time now. and when i checked to tally the total posts with the ones on my dashboard 41 posts approved and taken lang against 43 sa list ng total posts ko. at eto pa siyempre pati yung amount to be paid kulang ng $30. kmusta naman! I submitted a ticket to customer love already. I hope they get this fixed, if this is some kind of a bug or something.

@ Clairec23,
That’s too bad. I just hope your problems have been resolved already and won’t happen again.
@ Bregie,
I will choose the right opps. I’m considering maintaining a balance in line with the content of this blog. Thanks for the support at all times.
@ Jennie,
Try to follow up every 24 hours your inquiry… Minsan sa dami ng inquiries sa kanila, hindi nila alam ang unang sasagutin nila eh.

Welcome to PPP, Idol! If only we can have both, earning $$$ and at the same time, maintain our PR. But sometimes we can’t have it all. But it’s all worth the try, Kuya. Your blog’s worth can’t only be measured by figures. PR0 or PR10, I will remain supportive of you. Just don’t forget when u earn lots of dollars from blogging through PPP, you’ve got to come down and visit us here at GenSan and bring some bagnet. It’a deal!

Not everyone is on the PPP bandwagon. Some have had major issues with them. Personally, I’m frustrated by the lack of opportunities open to me because I lack PR (for example, right now there are a grand total of 4 opportunities I qualify for and I have an Alexa of 400K!). My RR is 640 (and I have no clue if that’s good or bad as I have yet to find any documentation to tell me that) and that doesn’t seem to have helped me qualify for any more opps than when it was 3000!
Then there’s that interminable wait for them to pay out. 30 days is a LONG time when the mortgage payment is due.
And I’ve heard of them disapproving posts 5 days before they are due to be paid for some infraction. To me, that’s not fair to the poster at all and the advertiser has now just gotten 25 days of free advertising. Posts need to be approved or disapproved within 3 days of posting and if they aren’t the poster deserves to be paid for that post.
I’m not saying PPP is a bad thing altogether, but like most jobs in life, it has room to improve.

Kapatid welcome to the community! Go ng go kapatid habang mataas ang iyon pr mas malalaki ang offer! Tip, every 11pm to 1am lumalabas mga offers dito sa pinas. kaya unahan yan kapatid. Ang mahuli talo hahha. Goodluck kapatid!

It’s good I read this comment before finally retiring tonight. Salamat sa info, bro. Yun nga ang balita ko eh. Unahan talaga. Naku, ang hirap nga namang kumita oo. Hehehe!

@ Margaret,
I understand your sentiments. I really hope PPP will be able to resolve its own issues so that bloggers doing paid posts won’t have so much trouble like your case and Jen’s.
I know it’s quite unfair if payments are delayed knowing that the ads are in your blog for many days already. That’s my hope also – to be paid quick and on time. I hope that becomes a reality to all of us posties.

Wow! Congrats for the approval of your blog. Welcome to PPP’s blogging world. If you do good in your posts later on, your post will be approved automatically just like mine. I’m sure you’ll get a lot of opps because of your PR. Ako nga PR 3 and I get a lot of opps everyday but my domain is only allowed to take 3 opps a day. Yan ang max nila. But if you have 2 blogs with PR 3 or 4 you can take 6 posts a day. Ang daming pera na no’n.

yung badge ang nakasira sa PR nya fren… One guideline of Smorty para di maalis ang PR eh wag maglagay ng HIRE ME or SPONSORED Badge sa site. General Affiliate badges are ok.

yey! welcome to paid blogging. well i know, you’ve done a few but there’s more at ppp. more so for a PR4 blog, I should know I’ve been there. hindi na nga lang ngayon. been stripped off it. enjoy and keep the opps coming in your ppp dashboard.

Naku ang hirap kumuha ng opps na feel ko… actually, i’m having second thoughts in pursuing paid blogging with PPP because of Google’s policies against posties. I’ll try Smorty and other networks perhaps.
@ Ellaine,
That’s one of my points in previous discussions. We bloggers have to make some money, too. Blogging is not easy and it’s costly just staying up all night writing, socializing, et al.

Sitewide dapat yung disclosure policy. Refer to my sitewide dsclosure dito sa site ko… May separate page ako. create a separate PAGE for that.
