Thanks for the heads up article jessie cause I was starting to look into PPP. But now i don't think it is even worth the risk. Seems better for those who have time enough to write for payment, they should just score freelance work from one of the Elance type networks. Since I wasn’t fortunate to get a PR Rank the last time Google made an update, I only thrive with my 0 PR status. Fortunately, many SR advertisers are equal-opportunity provider so I still get paid reviews.

And Jessie, remember what we always believe in? Monetizing is not everything in blogging, it’s still the “good stuff” in your blog that matters. I’s still for it.

That would be wonderful, amigo. You see, I really think it’s best to separate a personal blog (one that contains most normal content) from a money blog. This way, readers won’t be too confused. Accepting paid posts in a personal blog is ok for as long as there is a certain limit or ratio of normal content to paid posts. Well, that’s just my opinion in order to avoid overusing (or abusing) the blog and the objectives of writing for a blog.

That’s true. When you start monetizing your blog, your concerns also change. I have realized that also but I have doubts as to overusing this blog by way of accepting many posts. I will create blogs that will be meant for monetization, but i don’t think i can risk this one. A few paid posts in this blog will do, hence, paid blogging with a little control.

Right now, i am focused on getting my PR5. For seven months in the blogosphere that's a big achievement i've got. My pinoytek.net blog gained PR3 after two months, same with pinoyambisyoso.com. I understand your concern and I’ve read your post. I know how hard it is for some bloggers to lose their PR’s. Don’t worry too much (if this has bothered you). Like I said, let’s just hope for the best. I hope you’ll gt your PR back or even higher. just grab opps that are suitable to your site (or opps that you feel like doing). Pr or no PR, if you have established a good reputation with review companies, they will still value you as a blogger.

Can you try using iwebtool’s PR checker (http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker) and try to verify for yourself your actual Google PR. Sometimes, their servers are down but you may go back to the site again and again just to check when servers can already show you your PR.

That’s the proper attitude. Don’t get frustrated by things like these because you might get discouraged doing what you love to do. Just enjoy blogging for now. When the right time comes for you to make money, then go ahead and make money. Just don’t forget to share some with me … Good luck!
