I’ve never heard of friendster myself but spamming is eViL stuff.

i think i experienced this too when i was starting..and sometimes it can be annoying.

I think from someone in the states that they find facebook and tagged better than friendster. however, since this is the hype in the Philippines..most Filipinos decide to open an account with friendster instead of the other social networks…

I think there are spam accounts in Friendster. I, myself, have noticed a lot of suspicious accounts viewing my profile.

I really hate Friendster. From day 1 that I started using it (at the behest of my students), I’ve been getting all sorts of spam. To this day, several years later, I will still occasionally get something.

I started using Facebook, less spam but now worried about identity theft … no harassment though and old friends found which is good.

I agree with Junelle, I recently just heard of my friend\’s multiply account getting hacked. Posted some odd entries that led to some random people\’s blog sites. That is scary!

Off topic kuya, thanks so much for telling me where to find help about my akismet problem. I went to wordpress.org and typed in akismet and there were plenty of topics until one led me contact akismet and they replied in less than 30 minutes. Imagine the distress I have to go through when it can be resolved so easily. Thanks po ulit!
